JETS VS DOLPHINES WK 12 2015
New York Jets football game. ... Fitzpatrick, Marshall lead Jets past Dolphins 38- 20 ... Nov 29, 2015 ... NFL touchdown, and with Eric Decker in New York's fourth win in the last five meetings with Miami.
( Nov 29th 2015 )
The NFL packed up two of its AFC East franchises and shipped them across the pond for the season’s first International Series game. It was a bit of a slopfest for the fans over in London, as they watched the New York Jets stifle the hapless Miami Dolphins.
New York absolutely smothered Miami throughout the day, rendering the Dolphins’ ground game obsolete and forcing Ryan Tannehill to dink, dunk and continually play under pressure. The Jets beat the Dolphins up and down the field, and out-gained the opposition by nearly double the yardage.
Chris Ivory ran like a man possessed, and consistently shed the first tackler to rack up the YAC yards. And one week after pulling out what he deemed the worst play in NFL history, Brandon Marshall lit up the Fish for over 100 yards receiving.
As for the Dolphins, in a day full of lows perhaps the nadir was Ndamukong Suh kicking Ryan Fitzpatrick in the head after the end of a play. All in all, it was an ugly performance on both sides of the ball for the reeling Dolphins. The upcoming bye week comes at a much-needed juncture.
